Sadie’s restaurant and garden bar in New York City’s Seaport, is bringing New American comfort food, an indoor-outdoor bar experience, and year-round programming to one of Lower Manhattan’s most vibrant waterfront neighborhoods.
Seaport Entertainment is looking for a Server to be based in Sadie's. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Server is responsible for taking orders, maintaining the dining room, serving beverages, and helping the guest make informed decisions. In this role servers are expected to use their skills, knowledge, and personality to provide a dining experience that exceeds all expectations.
Please note this is a seasonal position expected to last based on business needs.
Demonstrate expert knowledge of all menu items, as well as daily specials. All members of the server team are responsible for being able to effectively describe each dish as well as the ingredients, preparation/techniques, purveyors and allergens.
Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
Compensation: The base pay range for this position is paid a minimum wage of $17 an hour and a tip credit is taken when applicable.
