1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (4×10s)

2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM (4×10s)

3rd Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (3×12s, paid for 40 hours)

Overtime: As needed
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and advanced multi-axis equipment in a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment. This role supports both production and engineering teams and requires strong mechanical aptitude, blueprint reading skills, and commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate advanced CNC equipment (4/5-axis mills, Swiss machines, lathes with live tooling)

Run multi-axis machining operations to produce complex, high-precision parts

Validate new setups and programs for pre-production and production runs

Perform first-piece and in-process inspections

Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and G/M code

Maintain tight tolerances and high-quality standards

Use precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators)

Make offset adjustments to ensure parts meet specifications

Support training and mentoring of junior machinists

Follow all safety and quality protocols
Basic Qualifications
-
6+ years CNC machining experience (mills and lathes)

Strong understanding of machining processes: turning, milling, drilling, threading

Proficiency reading blueprints and technical drawings
-
Experience with GM codes

Working knowledge of GD&T

Ability to set up vertical/horizontal machining centers and turning centers

Strong math and problem-solving skills

Experience working with various materials in tight-tolerance environments

Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods

Clear communication skills (verbal and written)
Preferred Qualifications

Technical certification or trade school training (preferred)

3+ years blueprint reading experience

3+ years leadership or training experience

3+ years safety compliance experience

Valid driver's license
