We are currently looking for a people-focused Operations Supervisor to lead our 2nd shift LTL department in a large, fast-paced distribution environment.

What You Will Be Doing
As an Operations Supervisor, you will lead daily operations while developing people and processes:
Lead shipping and receiving operations to ensure accuracy, inventory integrity, and on‑time fulfillment
Coach and develop hourly associates through regular feedback, training, and performance conversations
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across shipping, receiving, quality, and rework
Coordinate inbound and outbound carrier schedules to meet customer delivery expectations
Monitor KPIs and communicate performance results to leadership
Promote a strong safety culture and enforce security and facility standards
Utilize WMS to optimize labor, workflows, and operational outcomes
Support and participate in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance and audits
Hire, train, and onboard new team members
Maintain accurate payroll and labor reporting
Collaborate cross‑functionally with peers, managers, and vendors
Contribute to tactical and annual operating plans, budgets, and department goals
What You Will Bring
Your background and experience should include:
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment
- Experience with inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP) preferred
- Familiarity with shipping/receiving processes and carrier coordination
- Strong people-leadership skills with focus on coaching, accountability and relationship-building.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
