Duties
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients to ensure timely meal service
- Support cooking activities by preparing basic dishes under supervision, following established recipes and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety and hygiene standards
- Handle food items safely during storage, transfer, and disposal in accordance with food handling regulations
- Support the serving team by delivering prepared dishes promptly and efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction
- Assist with catering setups, including arranging serving stations and replenishing supplies during events
- Follow all kitchen safety protocols, including proper knife skills and safe food handling practices
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and familiarity with kitchen equipment is advantageous
- Experience with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is a plus
- Prior exposure to meal preparation or catering environments can help accelerate onboarding
