Commercial Lines Account Manager
Location: Florham Park, NJ
Work Arrangement: Hybrid/On-site flexibility
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000
Position Overview
Our client, a growing and well-established independent insurance agency, is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their team. This individual will manage and a portfolio of commercial construction and real estate insurance accounts while providing exceptional service, developing strong client relationships, and supporting overall agency growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication
- Review coverage needs and provide insurance solutions tailored to client objectives
- Coordinate renewals, endorsements, certificates, and policy changes
- Collaborate with producers, carriers, and internal service teams
- Identify opportunities for account rounding and account growth
- Ensure a high level of client retention and satisfaction
Qualifications
- 8+ years of commercial insurance experience within in an independent insurance agency
- Strong knowledge of commercial lines coverage including property, casualty, and related products, specifically related to construction & real estate.
- Experience managing a book of business independently or working directly with a producer
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple client needs in a fast-paced environment
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
