We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant team, with the ability to work Saturdays. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring clarity and attention to detail
- Serve food, cocktails, wine, spirits, and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
- Upsell menu items, specials, and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while handling cash safely and responsibly
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or casual settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Ability to work Saturdays consistently; flexible availability is a plus
- Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
- Culinary experience or food industry background preferred but not required
- Food handling certification or willingness to obtain necessary food safety certifications
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in upselling, sales techniques, and guest engagement strategies
