Your Role:
As a Dog Groomer, you’ll be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services while ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of each dog in your care. You’ll work with a wide variety of breeds and coat types, and your expertise will help every pet look and feel their best.
What We’re Looking For:
· Proven experience as a dog groomer with expert grooming skills
· Strong knowledge of breed standards, anatomy, and canine behavior
· Artistic eye for creating stylish, breed-appropriate trims
· Skilled in handling grooming tools, including clippers, shears, combs, and stripping knives
· Prioritizes safety, cleanliness, and time management
· Passionate about animal care and creating a calm, positive grooming experience
Responsibilities:
· Bathing, drying, and brushing dogs to clean them, removing dead skin and debris from their coats, and adding shampoos and conditioners as needed
· Massaging pets to relieve stress and improve blood circulation
· Brushing and combing pets’ fur to remove tangles and reduce shedding
· Drying dogs using blow-dryers, brushes, or towels
· Grooming dogs using clippers, scissors, or electric razors. Groom a minimum of 5 dogs per day
· Trimming and filing nails
· Shaving the dog’s face, neck, tail, and legs as needed to keep them in good condition
· Cleaning ears, eyes, paws, and teeth as needed
· Cleaning kennels or cages to remove feces, urine, or other waste products
· Cleaning the salon, such as floor, tables, and trash cans
· Walk-in services on all types of dogs (and cats if applicable)
· Maintain a clean and organized grooming area
· Communicate with pet owners to understand their specific grooming requests and preferences

Groomer Qualifications:
· Minimum 3 years of dog (and cat if applicable) grooming experience
· Minimum 1 year customer service experience (preferred)
· Strong grooming skills with Poodles and Doodles
· Able to lift/handle all breeds & sizes

Expected hours:
· 40 per week for a full-time position
· 20 per week for a part-time position
Store Hours:
· Monday–Saturday: 9 AM – 7 PM
· Sunday: 12 PM – 6 PM
Schedule:
· 8-hour shift
