Mount Shasta's Best Western Plus Tree House is seeking a friendly, energetic Front Desk Agent to join our team! In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process while providing outstanding customer service. Your organizational skills and positive attitude will help create a welcoming environment and support the daily operations of our hotel. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and efficiently handle check-in and check-out procedures using computer systems.
- Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, make reservations, and provide information about hotel amenities.
- Maintain accurate records through data entry, filing, and proofreading to ensure seamless front desk operations.
- Use office management software such as Google Workspace to organize schedules, update guest information, and support administrative tasks.
- Handle guest requests promptly, providing excellent customer support and resolving issues with professionalism.
- Manage calendar appointments for reservations or special requests, ensuring timely follow-up.
- Perform clerical duties including filing, proofreading documents, and maintaining organized records for smooth office flow.
Qualifications
- Prior office or hospitality experience preferred, especially in roles involving customer service or front desk responsibilities.
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to assist diverse guests effectively.
- Knowledge of multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette is highly desirable.
- Previous experience as a dental or medical receptionist or personal assistant is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to demonstrate strong time management skills and attention to detail in all tasks.
