Job Summary:
The overall responsibility of the Associate Laboratory Information System (LIS) Analyst is to provide day to day application / technical support and maintenance of all laboratory information systems operating at Phase2 Laboratory. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: desktop / hardware support; managing LIS support requests (problems and enhancements); managing tasks and projects that support lab operations and business initiatives; design and creation of clinical / business related reports using report writers; development and support of system and application interface and integration requirements; general support of other LIS initiatives; and participation in after-hours on-call.
Responsibilities:
§ Provide support for all LIS applications, including systems analysis, application build, testing, and validation.
§ Provide support for all desktop equipment, including computers (laptops / desktops), printers, and other local hardware.
§ Development and support of system and application interface and integration functions using HL7 and other industry standards.
§ Design and creation of clinical / business related reports using application report writers.
§ Work with team members, business partners, and other functional groups to understand laboratory processes and the associated systems/data sources to deliver optimal solutions that meet lab operational goals.
§ Collaboration with Laboratory Operations and Research and Development teams for requirements gathering with new assay development, validation, and deployment.
§ Addresses and follows laboratory change management processes to ensure compliance and maintain integrity of application and systems build.
§ Maintains compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies as needed from a clinical and technical infrastructure perspective.
§ Provides application support for critical event identification, event correlation, event escalation, and recovery procedures as needed.
§ Create and maintain user and/or technical documentation.
§ Monitors LIS workflows to develop, improve, and optimize standard operating procedures (SOP) documentation.
§ Participation of after-hours on-call as needed.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
