Dining at Exmoor is offered in multiple venues, both indoors and outside. The Club invested in significant renovations to the Clubhouse and Pool Pavilion in 2024, making Exmoor the jewel of the North Shore private club community. Indoors, Exmoor offers upscale-casual dining in the Heritage Room, elevated dining in the 1896 Room, fast-casual and grab-and-go options in the Café, family-centric dining in the Oak House, and full-service dining in the Men’s Bar. Outside, members can dine on the Heritage patio overlooking our beautiful golf course, or they can dine or drink at the open-air Cabana next to the pool. Our culinary team provides unique menus at several of the different venues, and our beer, wine, and cocktail lists are robust and designed to excite our members and their guests.

Exmoor’s History
Founded in 1896, Exmoor Country Club is a Distinguished Club with Elite status located in Highland Park, Illinois.
Home to approximately 600 member families, Exmoor is centered around a nationally recognized Donald Ross golf course while also offering tennis, swimming, curling, platform tennis, pickleball, skiing, and a vibrant calendar of family and social programming throughout the year.

The Position
As Food & Beverage Manager, you'll be a key member of Exmoor's leadership team, responsible for overseeing daily front-of-house operations across multiple dining venues and member events.
Your responsibilities include:

Lead daily operations across multiple food and beverage outlets.
- Coach, mentor, and develop service staff through consistent training and leadership.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and engaging workplace culture.
- Deliver exceptional member and guest experiences through visible, engaging floor leadership.
- Partner closely with the Executive Chef and culinary department to execute outstanding dining experiences.
- Coordinate and oversee private events, member functions, and banquets ranging from intimate dinners to events of more than 200 guests.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, professionalism, and service execution.
- Assist with hiring & training, scheduling, labor management, and operational planning.
- Build strong working relationships across all departments to ensure seamless member experiences.
The Package
This is a full-time, salaried, year-round leadership position.
Compensation

$60,000–$70,000 annually (based on experience)
- Annual performance bonus of up to 10% of base salary
