Job Summary
Position: Assistant Paint Maker. Hours Mon-Fri 7:30 - 4:00. Learn the processes in making industrial paints from raw materials. Must be able to carefully follow specific written directions, lift and carry up to 55 lbs, and not have allergies to paint and solvent fumes. Learn how to prepare products for shipment. Will need to train to become certified to operate a fork lift. Must be able to drive company vehicles and make local deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery safely and efficiently, including forklifts and power tools.
- Carefully follow directions and assist wherever needed.
- Load and unload materials using forklifts, ensuring proper handling and storage within the warehouse or factory setting.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while adhering to quality standards.
- Requirements
- Valid drivers license.
- Basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Ability to stand, lift heavy objects, and perform physical tasks.
- Prior warehouse experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
Pay: From $13.50 per hour
