Physical Therapist Assistant, Part-Time/PRN
Tri-State East Tennessee, LLC. is a locally and privately-owned outpatient physical therapy company. We have been partnered with Summit Medical Group since 2011 and represent the clinical staff (PTs/PTAs) for their 9 outpatient PT clinics located in the East Tennessee Region.
We have added Saturday clinic hours to some of our Knoxville locations to accommodate our patient needs. This is an excellent opportunity for any PTAs looking to supplement their income or are seeking additional hours at our Saturday clinics.
We are seeking PTA's to work part-time/PRN at this location for Saturday clinic hours. There are also opportunities to work PRN hours during the Monday-Friday week, as well as potential to grow into a full-time/part-time positions with full benefits.
Our patient population consists of 90%+ musculoskeletal conditions. The remaining population is a mix of gait, balance, and general deconditioning patients.

Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients, focusing on patient care and rehabilitation.
- Monitor patient progress and document changes in their condition.
- Educate patients on exercises and techniques to enhance recovery.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams when needed to ensure patient care delivery.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to provide effective therapy.
- Participate in discharge planning and develop care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Qualifications
- Strong patient care skills and knowledge of medical terminology
- Proficient in anatomy and physiology relevant to physical therapy
- Familiarity with discharge planning and care plans
- Knowledge of orthopedics

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
