Westampton Twp./Hainesport Twp./Eastampton Twp. Shared Municipal Court in the County of Burlington is seeking a qualified, self-motivated, and detailed-oriented individual for the position of full-time deputy municipal court administrator. This court is a high-volume court with approximately 10,000 filings annually and 52 court sessions a year. Applicants must be able to work under the general direction of the Municipal Court Judge and Municipal Court Administrator.
Experience in court administration is preferred, including a strong working knowledge of ATS/ACS, PCSam, eMACS, Promis Gavel, CCIS, Page Center/Web Reporting, Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) system, municipal eFiling system, and the Zoom and Microsoft Teams virtual platforms. Knowledge of case-flow management and other computer applications is also a plus.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, responding to inquiries from and providing information and guidance to the public, employees, attorneys, defendants, and community organizations; assisting defendants with technical and procedural matters; and facilitating communication among State, Vicinage, and local management. Additionally, responsibilities inclued monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly reports, assisting with the maintenance of court financial accounts, and drafting correspondence as needed. The candidate must consistently operate in compliance with the New Jersey Rules of Court, Supreme Court Directives, applicable laws, and established policies and procedures governing the operation of Municipal Courts.
