Warehouse & Production Associate (Entry Level)
About the Role
Plastec Ventilation is looking for a dependable, motivated individual to join our growing team as a Warehouse & Production Associate. This is an entry-level position with paid training provided.
You'll play an important role in supporting production, warehouse operations, receiving, and inventory organization. Every day is a little different, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build a career in manufacturing and supply chain operations.
What You'll Do
- Assemble ventilation equipment, electronic accessories, and light mechanical products (training provided)
- Build, package, and prepare customer orders for shipment
- Assist with receiving incoming shipments and verifying materials
- Pick and stage parts for production and customer orders
- Organize inventory and maintain a clean, efficient warehouse
- Label products, prepare shipping cartons, and palletize orders
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment (training provided)
- Perform basic inventory counts and stock replenishment
- Support production personnel with materials and workflow
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Follow quality standards and safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No prior experience required—we provide training
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable with excellent attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable using hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the day
- Basic computer skills are a plus
Preferred (Not Required)
- Previous warehouse experience
- Assembly or manufacturing experience
- Shipping or receiving experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience using inventory or ERP systems
