Overall responsibilities and duties:
o Dock audit sheet inspection completion
o Incoming inspection of parts
o Assist in Quality checks on production and shipping dock
o Assist in quality tasks based on customer and supplier demand
o Assist with cut and etch analysis
The main missions of the role are:
o Weld Cut and Etch Role
A. Cut and sand welds for proper analysis
B. Review weld joint with microscope and software
C. Record test results and alert QE and QM of any failures
D. Work with production to coordinate line parts for cut and etch
E. Work with weld techs to ensure weld requirements are met
o Dock Audit Role
A. Inspection of parts visually for obvious defects and as specified by dock audit sheets and work instructions,
B. Notify Quality Engineer and Supervisor when defects are found during dock inspection,
o Incoming inspection
A. Place and log defect product in Quality Hold status,
B. Record and dispose of defective product in designated manner (red bins,)
C. Check parts by loading and positioning component(s) into fixture(s) and gauge(s) using methods/equipment defined in operator work instructions to determine quality of product
D. Perform annual validations on all bought out parts
o All Roles
A. Maintain clean and safe working environment in line with company policy,
B. Maintain proper paperwork,
C. Start line QRCI for any issue found,
D. Adhere to all work rules and procedures,
E. Actively participate in work teams,
F. Submit at least one improvement idea per month,
G. Other duties as requested.
H. Complete inventory of jail locations monthly

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Minimum education level: High School Diploma or GED,
Experience :
o Satisfactory company work record, including attendance,
o Demonstrate the ability to perform to the quality standard,
o Successful completion of Faurecia’s in-house training program,
o Production experience demonstrating knowledge of manufacturing processes.
Skills and competencies
o Ability to read part drawings and convey details and specifications,
o Ability to follow instruction verbal and written,
o Ability to use email and basic computer skills,
o Good communication skills demonstrated by the ability to communicate with employees of all levels,
o Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team an in a positive manners,
o Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management.
Physical Requirements:
o Job involves lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds (full exhaust assemblies), exerts 25 to 100 pounds of force occasionally and exerts 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to moving objects,
o Requires pushing, pulling, reaching, standing, stooping/kneeling/squatting, twisting/turning, walking, gripping and bending,
o High mental and visual effort required,
o Work involves considerable bending and twisting,
o Able and willing to work overtime when required – up to 12 hours a day / 7 days a week.
Safety / Hazards:
o Steel toed shoes, required in production area at all times due to physical hazards from moving equipment, machine parts and product,
o ANSI Z87.1 standard safety glasses required in production area due to dust, oils and debris,
o Ear protection required in production area due to high noise levels from machines,
o Kevlar sleeves required in production area due to potential lacerations
o High visibility vest to be worn while in areas designated for vest,
o May be exposed to flying objects such as weld slag and sparks,
o May be exposed to weld fumes and dust,
o Exposed to moderate burns, cuts and bruises,
o Exposed to significant temperature changes in the facility – (heat in the summer / cold in the winter).
