United / Rothco Final Mile Co. is seeking experienced CDL-A Owner-Operators for a dedicated local container drayage contract operating out of Port Newark / Port Elizabeth.
This is steady, home-daily port work, moving containers to and from NJ yards within a 50–70 mile radius.
We are a direct sub-hauler on a dedicated Maersk contract with consistent weekday volume.
About the Run
We're looking for reliable, hard-working owner-operators to run dedicated container drayage between the Port of Philadelphia and IKEA in Westampton, NJ. This is steady, predictable, home-daily work with the same lane every day — no long-haul, no living out of your truck.
The daily route:
- Start your day with a 6:00 AM container pickup at Packer Avenue Marine Terminal (Port of Philadelphia)
- Deliver the loaded container to IKEA in Westampton, NJ
- Return the empty back to the port, get reloaded, and run it back to IKEA
- Repeat — 3 to 4 round trips per day
Short, tight lane. More trips, more money. If you like to run and keep moving, this is your seat.
Pay Breakdown (Per Round Trip)
You keep 78% of the line haul plus 100% of fuel surcharge and 100% of tolls.

Requirements
- Valid CDL-A
- Own tractor (day cab preferred for local drayage)
- Valid TWIC card (required for port access)
- 1+ year of port drayage / container experience
- Clean driving record and current medical card
- Able to start early — first pull is at 6:00 AM
- Dependable, professional, and communicative
