Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial box trucks and other delivery vehicles in accordance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and company policies
- Load, unload, and move products using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques while adhering to safe lifting practices
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely service to customers
- Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
- Deliver orders directly to customers’ locations, providing friendly and professional customer service throughout each interaction
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, inventory records, and documentation for all shipments
- Assist in warehouse duties such as organizing stock, picking orders, and preparing shipments for dispatch
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or warehouse worker with a strong understanding of route driving and logistics
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; previous experience in local route delivery, food distribution, or courier services is preferred.s
- Experience operating box trucks, manual transmission vehicles, forklifts, or pallet jacks
- Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and safe manual handling practices in accordance with workplace safety standards
- Familiarity with DOT regulations related to commercial driving and weight handling in the workplace
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to move heavy loads efficiently while maintaining safety protocols at all times
