Cornerstone Christian Academy (CCA) is a fully accredited K–12 private school in Statesville, North Carolina, serving over 350 students. CCA operates under Cornerstone Church and is committed to providing individualized, Christ-centered education that equips students to excel academically and grow spiritually.
Position Overview
Cornerstone Christian Academy is seeking an elementary teacher (2nd grade) who views education not merely as a profession, but as a calling to ministry. These individuals will provide strong academic instruction while discipling students spiritually, modeling Christian character, and investing in the lives of young people during their formative high school years.
Responsibilities
- Provide engaging instruction for students
- Maintain a structured and respectful classroom environment
- Integrate biblical truth and a Christian worldview into daily teaching
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate academic records
- Communicate effectively with parents and administration
- Participate in faculty meetings, school events, and ministry activities
- Support the mission and leadership of Cornerstone Christian Academy and Cornerstone Church
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (Education degree preferred)
- Profess a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Willingness to support the beliefs and ministry of Cornerstone Christian Academy and Cornerstone Church
- Strong communication and classroom leadership skills
- Teachable spirit and willingness to grow professionally
