Recovery Support Specialist
Recovery Centers of America at Danvers is looking for Recovery Support Specialists to join our team. We are currently hiring for full time and part time employees.
Day Shift: 7AM- 3:30PM, including every other weekend.
Evening Shift: 3PM-11:30PM, including every other weekend.
Night Shift: 11PM-7:30AM, including every other weekend.
Pay:
$18/ hour for all three shifts.
- +$1/hour for evening shift differential
- +$2/hour for night shift differential
- +$5,000 bonus for full time, night shift employees ONLY.
As a RSS, you will:
- Monitor patient activities and provide safety checks throughout shift.
- Complete documentation.
- Participate in direct patient care, ensuring patient safety and interacting therapeutically.
- Assist in the activities of patients daily schedules.
- Partner with nursing and clinical staff.
- Provide guidance on the 12-Steps and how they apply to the recovery process.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience of 1 year working in substance use disorder treatment is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with all technology hardware, systems and tools required to perform duties; training will be provided as needed.
- Familiarity with behavior modification and 12-step modality.
- Ability to perform, document, and report patient vital signs.
- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record (as applicable).
