We are committed to making each drink carefully by hand. There are an average of 8 hands that touch every single bean before it ends up in our cups, and in order to honor the farm to cup process, we want to present them in a way that makes them shine. We search for better ways of brewing, research new equipment and methods, and create ways for our customers to learn about the work that goes into each cup starting from the seed.
Duties
- Greet customers and take their orders
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably as a barista
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and different coffee types
- Familiarity with operating a cash register and handling cash transactions
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
