Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, including cleaning, sanitation, laundry, and custodial tasks across multiple areas
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of housekeeping staff to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Implement and monitor safety regulations, sanitation standards, and cleaning procedures to maintain a safe environment for staff and guests
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and identify areas for improvement
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement processes
- Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, industrial cleaning methods, and customer service excellence
- Oversee janitorial activities in both hospitality settings and commercial spaces, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to management policies
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience in housekeeping or custodial services within hospitality or commercial environments
- Extensive knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, industrial cleaning, and management of janitorial operations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and communicate clearly with staff at all levels
- Experience in managing laundry operations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in hospitality settings
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals, equipment use, and workplace safety protocols
- Demonstrated ability to handle customer service situations professionally while maintaining operational efficiency
- Previous management experience in housecleaning or housekeeping management roles is highly preferred
