Position Summary:
The Director of Development provides strategic leadership for the school’s fundraising and
revenue generation initiatives. Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer, this role leads the
development function, oversees donor cultivation and solicitation strategies in partnership
with the CAO and Head of School, institutes stewardship strategies, and directs the execution
of fundraising programs aligned with institutional priorities. The Director exercises significant
independent judgment in establishing fundraising goals, analyzing donor data, directing
team members, and implementing strategies that drive philanthropic growth in support of
the school’s mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute the overall fundraising strategy, establishing annual goals and
revenue targets across giving programs
- Develop and cultivate donor pipelines for annual giving, major gifts, planned giving
consisting of new and current families, alumni, alumni parents, grandparents,
foundations, and corporations.
