Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to support clients with autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental conditions
- Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including grooming, hygiene, and other self-care routines, fostering independence
- Communicate regularly with clients’ families and caregivers to provide updates on progress and collaborate on care strategies
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by securely managing medical records and sensitive client information
- Support clients in various settings, including home-based environments and school settings, ensuring consistency across environments
- Follow ethical guidelines outlined in the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts to ensure high-quality, respectful care
Skills
- Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, especially those on the autism spectrum or with neurodevelopmental disorders
- Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and implementing ABA therapy protocols effectively
- Proficiency in data collection methods related to behavioral health and behavior management strategies
- Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients in developing daily living skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation, and medical records management for accurate record keeping
- Excellent client communication skills to foster trust and cooperation during therapy sessions
- Experience working in school or home-based environments is highly desirable for versatile client support

Pay: $24.37 - $27.00 per hour
