Duties include keeping work areas clean and safe, helping customers with their purchases while providing great service, accurately and efficiently handling cash transactions using a POS system, and boosting sales by suggesting extra items or upselling. Requirements involve basic math skills for handling cash and processing orders, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members, and the physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds. You’ll also be responsible for handling cash and getting accurate change from the bank.
