Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Maker / Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble pizza doughs, toppings, sauces, and other ingredients according to established recipes and menu specifications
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, knives, and food prep tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by following food safety procedures and sanitizing protocols throughout the shift
- Assist with food production for high-volume orders, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality
- Support menu planning efforts by suggesting new pizza varieties or ingredient combinations based on customer preferences and seasonal availability
- Follow recipe adherence precisely to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes
- Collaborate with team members to uphold a smooth kitchen workflow during busy service hours
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation, especially in a restaurant or high-volume food service environment
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in operating various kitchen equipment
- Experience with food handling, cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation
- Familiarity with dietary department standards or dietary aide experience is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards culinary tasks and customer service
