Our client is in need of a talented CNC Milling Operator with expertise in 5-axis operations to join their team in Berlin, CT. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in machine setup, operation, and adjustments, able to work with little supervision.
Job Responsibilities:
- Machine Setup & Operation: Efficiently set up and run CNC machining centers.
- Troubleshooting: Perform machine adjustments and troubleshoot controllers, machines, and processes as required.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Utilize blueprint specifications to choose tools, set feeds, and determine speeds.
- Quality Inspection: Use precision hand tools to inspect machined parts for accuracy and quality.
- Workplace Maintenance: Keep the work area clean and organized, maintaining tools, equipment, and machines.
- Tool Management: Monitor tool inventory and reorder as needed.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2-3 years in CNC 5-axis milling setup and operations.
- Physical Capability: Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs.
- Independence: Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
