Oregon Physical Therapy | Located inside Timberhill Athletic Club
Oregon Physical Therapy is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and patient-centered Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our practice. This is a unique opportunity to work in an outpatient physical therapy setting with exceptional access to strength, functional training, and aquatic therapy resources.
Our clinic is located inside Timberhill Athletic Club, allowing our therapy team to utilize the club’s full array of strength and functional equipment as part of patient care. This setting gives clinicians the ability to help patients progress beyond the traditional treatment table and into real-world movement, strengthening, balance, conditioning, and return-to-activity programs.
We also offer aquatic physical therapy in our 94-degree therapy pool, providing an excellent treatment option for patients who benefit from warm-water exercise, reduced joint stress, improved mobility, pain relief, and supported strengthening.
About the Position
The Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to carry out individualized treatment plans, support patient progress, and help patients achieve meaningful functional goals. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships with patients, values high-quality care, and is excited to practice in a setting that supports active, functional rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
Provide skilled physical therapy treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Carry out individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic, post-surgical, sports, balance, mobility, and functional limitations.
Utilize the full array of strength and functional equipment available at Timberhill Athletic Club to support progressive rehabilitation.
Assist with aquatic physical therapy in our 94-degree therapy pool when appropriate.
Educate patients on therapeutic exercises, home exercise programs, wellness, and long-term self-management within the established plan of care.
Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress, concerns, and updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
Collaborate with our team to provide excellent patient care and outcomes.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
Qualifications
Current Oregon Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for Oregon licensure.
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and interpersonal skills.
Interest in outpatient orthopedics, functional rehabilitation, wellness, and/or aquatic physical therapy.
New graduates and experienced clinicians are welcome to apply.
Compensation
$35 per hour
