Responsibilities
- Perform rough and finish carpentry tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Measure, cut, and install wood and other building materials
- Construct, install, and repair frameworks, walls, doors, and other structural components
- Safely operate hand tools and power tools
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all job site safety regulations and company policies
- Work collaboratively with project supervisors and other trades
Requirements
- Previous carpentry experience required
- OHSA 10 recommended
- Must have your own carpentry tools
- Ability to read blueprints and work with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding work
- Reliable transportation to the job site
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass a drug screening
