Job Summary:
The Alt Administrator oversees the daily operations of a private duty home care agency, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. They manage client care, supervise Caregiver and CNA staff, coordinate care plans, and maintain high-quality service delivery. The role involves administrative leadership, staff management, and hands-on nursing care as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative & Compliance:
- Ensure the agency operates in compliance with state and federal regulations, including licensing requirements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures in accordance with home care standards.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for state regulatory bodies, accreditation agencies, and insurance providers.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines.
- Care Coordination.
- Oversee the provision of Caregiver and Nursing care to support staff in delivering high-quality services.
- Assess client health conditions, develop care plans, and modify them as necessary.
- Staff Management & Training.
- Implement staff development programs.
- Address staff concerns, mediate conflicts, and foster a positive work environment.
Client & Family Relations:
- Act as the primary contact for clients and their families, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction with care.
- Conduct initial and periodic home visits to assess the quality of care and client needs.
- Provide education and support to clients and families regarding health conditions and home care strategies.
- Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative or supervisory role is preferred.
- Knowledge of state and federal home care regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
Work in both office and resident environments.
May require occasional travel to client homes for assessments and supervision.
Flexible hours, including on-call duties as needed.

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
