Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist with catering events and banquets as needed, providing beverage service to guests.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal regulations regarding alcohol service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders when applicable.
- Stay updated on drink trends and menu offerings to provide recommendations to guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation is an advantage.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.90 - $17.50 per hour
