Job Summary
Divine Homes Healthcare Services, LLC is seeking a compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one community support to an individual with developmental disabilities. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about empowering individuals to build independence, develop life skills, and actively engage in their community.
Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered support during community outings and activities.
- Assist with communication, social interaction, and daily living skills.
- Encourage participation in recreational and community-based activities.
- Ensure the individual's health, safety, and well-being at all times.
- Safely transport the individual to and from scheduled community activities.
- Complete accurate documentation and progress notes.
- Maintain professional communication with supervisors and family members.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or related disabilities preferred.
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and proof of auto insurance.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Dependable, patient, and committed to providing high-quality, person-centered support.
Schedule
- Saturdays only
- 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
