Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist Supervisor

Position Summary
The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist Supervisor provides leadership, guidance, and supervision to Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialists (PRS) to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered rehabilitation services. This position is responsible for supporting staff development, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, monitoring service quality, and promoting positive outcomes for individuals receiving PRP services.
Essential Responsibilities
Clinical & Program Supervision
- Provide direct supervision, coaching, and support to Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialists.
- Conduct regular individual supervision meetings and team meetings.
- Monitor staff productivity, documentation, and service delivery.
- Ensure services are person-centered and aligned with individualized rehabilitation goals.
- Assist staff with crisis intervention and problem-solving when needed.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Review documentation for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to state regulations, Medicaid requirements, and organizational policies.
- Monitor treatment plans, progress notes, and service authorizations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program audits.
Staff Development
- Train, mentor, and onboard new Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialists.
- Identify professional development opportunities and provide ongoing coaching.
- Complete performance evaluations and support employee growth.
- Foster a collaborative, respectful, and supportive work environment.
Client Care Coordination
- Collaborate with therapists, psychiatrists, case managers, families, and community providers.
- Support continuity of care and effective communication among the interdisciplinary treatment team.
- Assist with resolving service barriers and improving client engagement.
Leadership & Program Growth
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts.
- Assist leadership in achieving program goals, quality outcomes, and census growth.
- Represent the organization professionally within the community and with referral partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Human Services, Rehabilitation Counseling, or a related behavioral health field required. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience providing Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) services or behavioral health rehabilitation services.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of psychiatric rehabilitation principles, recovery-oriented practices, person-centered planning, and behavioral health services.
- Strong knowledge of Medicaid regulations, documentation standards, and quality assurance practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, if community-based travel is required.
Preferred Certifications
- Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) preferred.
- Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) preferred.
- Additional behavioral health or rehabilitation certifications are considered an asset.

Pay: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour
