The Clothing Pricer is responsible for evaluating, sorting, and pricing donated clothing items for sale in our nonprofit thrift store. This position requires good judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to recognize quality, brands, current styles, and appropriate pricing to maximize revenue while providing value to our customers.
Qualifications
- Previous thrift store, retail, consignment, resale, or clothing pricing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of clothing brands, fashion trends, and garment quality.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with online resale values and popular clothing brands.
- Experience working in a customer service environment.
- Ability to recognize designer, vintage, and specialty clothing items.
Schedule
approximately 30 hours per week between 10am-5pm, days of the week depending on organizational needs.
