American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR RN for a cardiovascular operating room position requiring open heart experience, EPIC proficiency, and on-call availability with a 30-minute response time.

Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting within a hospital environment
-
Cardiovascular surgical patient population, including open heart cases
-
Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Alternating days off schedule
-
On-call required 1–2 days per week with a mandatory 30-minute response time
-
Weekend rotation every 3rd or 4th weekend; weekend is defined as Friday 4:30 PM through Monday 6:00 AM

Holiday coverage required as needed, with an expectation to work at least one major holiday

Floating required as needed

Epic EMR experience required
-
Active PA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required

Open heart surgical experience required

Scrub experience required

Epic EMR proficiency required

Must be able to respond to on-call assignments within 30 minutes

Manager interview is required as part of the selection process

Candidates undergo a clinical pre-screen to assess clinical fit prior to manager review

May be assigned to care for COVID-positive patients

Maximum of 7 days of time-off requests permitted for the duration of the contract
