We are seeking a motivated and dependable Non CDL Driver to join our dynamic delivery team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods using a box truck and servicing our bin. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck or personal vehicle to deliver goods across designated routes, following all traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations
- Load and unload items using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while practicing safe lifting practices
- Manage delivery schedules efficiently, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs at multiple locations.
- Assist with warehouse operations when needed, including inventory management and material handling tasks
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks to ensure optimal operation
Skills
- Previous warehouse experience and familiarity with warehouse operations are highly valued
- Proven commercial driving experience, especially with box trucks or courier services
- Experience with delivery driving, load & unload procedures, and adhering to traffic regulations
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely, including moving heavy packages or equipment using proper manual handling techniques
- Skilled in operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary
- Excellent customer service skills with clear communication abilities
- Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation, delivery updates, and documentation
- Knowledge of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations related to weight handling in the workplace and commercial vehicle operation
