Purchasing Representative
Ohio’s leading commercial food equipment service and repair provider is seeking a Purchasing Representative to support procurement operations and vendor relationships. This role is based out of our Columbus location and is responsible for sourcing equipment and parts, managing supplier communications, and ensuring timely, cost-effective purchasing while delivering exceptional service with professionalism and accuracy.
Job Duties:

Identifying requirements for goods, materials and services.

Identify slow-moving and fast-moving products and adjust restock levels accordingly.

Identifying reliable vendors.
-
Comparison of delivery terms.
-
Price negotiations.
-
Requesting bids and awarding supply contracts.

Manage budgets and have the ability to keep shipping costs down.

Working with the warehouse's ability to receive the products ordered.

Product testing and quality control.
Required Experience:

Customer service experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Able to work on a team, while also work independently on side projects with little to no supervision

Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office365 (e.g., Outlook, Excel, Teams), Order Management Systems, Mobile & Tablet devices
