The Role:
As a PT with Med1Care, you bring healing and mobility directly to our patients, whether in the comfort of their homes or utilizing the specialized equipment in our modern clinic. You are the clinical expert establishing the path to recovery.
- Key Duties: Perform comprehensive initial assessments and develop highly effective, individualized physical therapy plans of care.
- Home Health Care: Travel locally to provide compassionate, one-on-one therapy to patients in their own environment.
- Clinic Care: Treat patients in our modern, in-house clinic using advanced clinical modalities and equipment safely and effectively.
- Mentorship & Supervision: Provide clear guidance, supervision, and collaborative support to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs).
- Collaboration & Documentation: Accurately and timely document patient progress, continually evaluating the plan of care and maintaining clear communication with the interdisciplinary team and physicians.
What You Bring:
- Education: Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Active, valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Ohio.
- Requirements: A valid Driver’s License and proof of reliable auto insurance (required for the home health portion).
- Experience: Previous experience in home health or an outpatient clinic is preferred, but motivated and dedicated new grads are highly encouraged to apply!
