Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, with precision and flair
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS accurately and efficiently
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly and adhere to alcohol service regulations
- Restock bar supplies regularly and communicate inventory needs promptly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods, including nightclubs, banquets, or catering events
Skills
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient sales processing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse clientele
- Effective time management to handle multiple orders quickly during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and measuring ingredients accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with beverage preparation techniques such as brewing or mixing cocktails confidently
