Position Overview
The Quality Audit Lead ensures the correct products and quantities have been picked, verifies product freshness and shelf-life requirements, and maintains Texas Wholesale's high standards for customer satisfaction and inventory accuracy.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Audit outbound customer orders prior to shipment for accuracy.
· Confirm quantities picked match the sales order and ensure customers are not over-shipped or short-shipped.
· Inspect all products for damage, contamination, leaking, crushed packaging, or other quality concerns.
· Verify expiration dates and ensure products meet Texas Wholesale's approved shelf-life standards before shipment.
· Remove and report expired, damaged, or non-saleable inventory immediately.
· Identify and document picking errors and work with warehouse personnel to correct discrepancies before orders leave the facility.
· Communicate recurring picking or inventory issues to warehouse leadership.
· Maintain accurate audit documentation and daily quality reports.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
· Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
· Minimum 1 years of warehouse, inventory control, quality assurance, or order auditing experience preferred.
· Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
· Ability to identify product quality concerns and expiration issues.
· Strong organizational and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Basic computer and handheld scanner experience.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
