Starting pay is negotiable based on education, relevant experience, and applicable licensure or certifications.
Job Summary
The primary responsibility of the Behavior Interventionist is to provide therapeutic intervention, behavioral support, and skill development for assigned child(ren) in school and community settings in accordance with individualized behavior support plans. Working collaboratively with families, educators, clinicians, and other service providers, the Behavior Interventionist helps children build positive coping skills, improve functioning, and achieve identified treatment goals.
This role requires the ability to implement behavioral interventions consistently, collect and document relevant data, support crisis prevention and de-escalation efforts, and foster positive relationships that promote success across environments.

Education/Experience
Required: High School Diploma required, preferred Bachelor Degree, or pursuing Bachelor Degree, preferably in the human services field. May have relevant experience in exchange for human service degree with a minimum of one year experience working with children who have emotional and/or behavioral disorders.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree
