Overview
Daylight Drainage is a stormwater drainage service company that is headquartered out of Springfield OR. We design and install underground drainage systems mainly for residential clients. Our primary focus is building french drains, underground downspout systems, installing sump pumps, and managing crawl spaces and basements. We protect our clients' properties from standing water and water intrusion. Daylight Drainage is one of the only residential stormwater management companies operating in our area who's sole focus is drainage. We strive to exceed expectations and build long lasting systems while creating and maintaining positive relationships with every client we work with.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of stormwater drainage systems
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, buggies, skid steers and trenchers efficiently to move materials and prepare sites
- Comfortably and efficiently driving large pick-up trucks and small commercial vehicles: this includes backing up and pulling trailers
- Follow written and oral instructions easily and are open to learning
- Use a large variety of hand tools and power tools for trenching, demolition, and other construction tasks
- Adhere strictly to federal construction safety regulations and safety protocol procedures at all times during project execution
- Assist with laser alignment and other precision tools necessary for proper pipe installation
- Work in tight spaces and a large variety of outdoor spaces in all weather conditions for extended periods of time
- Are able to dig and move loaded wheelbarrows for extended periods of time
- Maintain a clean and organized work site while following safety regulations to prevent hazards or injuries
Requirements:
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- No smoking or vaping on job sites of any kind
- Clean driving record and current driver's license
- The ability to drive full size fully loaded pick-up trucks and smaller commercial vehicles (i.e. Ford F450 with extensive toolbox buildout, racks and extended bed)
- Comfortably back-up and pull trailers
- Can consistently lift 50+ pounds
- Able to work in tight spaces
- Able to maintain a clean work environment
- Organizational skills
- Open to learning and capable of handling critique
- Have the appropriate attire to work extended hours on uneven terrain in all weather conditions
- Punctual, with reliable transportation
