Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Worker to join our Substance Use Residential Facility in Andalusia. This position operates within a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model, providing person-centered support, daily living assistance, and recovery-focused care for individuals receiving substance use treatment services. In this role, you will help create a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment that promotes stability, wellness, and long-term recovery.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required

Ability to work effectively with individuals receiving substance use treatment services

Strong communication, observation, and interpersonal skills

Ability to maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Must be able to work flexible shifts as needed

Responsibilities:

Provide daily supervision, support, and care for residents receiving substance use treatment services

Assist with daily living activities and help maintain routines that support recovery and wellness

Monitor residents’ behavior, safety, and overall well-being, reporting concerns to supervisory staff as needed

Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment that supports person-centered care and recovery goals

Support residents with crisis prevention, emotional support, and encouragement throughout treatment

Collaborate with clinical staff and team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care within the CCBHC care model

Work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support continuous residential services
ALL candidates must be able to type and have basic computer skills, possess a valid driver’s license, eligibility for coverage under center liability insurance and individually held vehicle liability insurance with a clear background check.
