Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Class A CDL driver to join our growing family owned business. JD Enterprises is located in Southern Minnesota, just outside of Owatonna. We currently offer custom manure applicating and hopper bottom services. Whether you're looking to be home every night, or over-the-road (OTR), we have dedicated lanes to achieve this. Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, tankers and hopper bottoms.
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across OTR routes.
- Load and unload freight with manual handling techniques.
- Transport trailers, hazardous materials (Hazmat), and other specialized cargo while complying with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and compliance with hazardous materials regulations.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols related to manual transmission operation, truck loading/unloading procedures, and hazardous materials handling.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid Class A CDL license.
- Demonstrated ability to operate various types of trucks including tractor-trailers, tankers, and hopper bottoms.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and execution.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazard materials regulations, and safety standards for trucking operations.
- Delivery driving experience on over-the-road (OTR) routes is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle manual transmission trucks confidently and perform manual handling tasks during cargo loading/unloading
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must have a current health card
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be able to communicate efficiently and follow directions
- Experience preferred, but willing to train the right person. New hires are welcome

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
