Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and art or dance therapy when appropriate.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including intake evaluations and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems.
- Deliver crisis management and crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute mental health issues or emergencies.
- Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with client needs, incorporating evidence-based practices like motivational interviewing and applied behavior analysis.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, behavioral health records, and HIPAA-compliant records of patient care, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, educators, and case managers to coordinate care for individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders.
- Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to expand access to mental health services across the Greater region.
Experience
- Valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent in the state of.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical counseling with children, adolescents, adults, or geriatrics across outpatient or inpatient settings.
- Proven expertise in psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, PTSD care, and behavior management strategies.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or special education needs preferred.
- Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10), medical terminology, and electronic medical records (EMR) systems ensuring accurate documentation of patient care.
- Strong skills in crisis management within behavioral health or

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
