Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu plans
- Assist with menu planning to ensure a variety of nutritious options are available
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including dishwashing duties
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and service
- Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation tasks
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies
Experience
- Background in restaurant or kitchen environments is highly desirable
- Proven skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal preparation techniques
- Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations within the culinary field
- Experience in catering services is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
