Eagle Grill & Oyster Bar is looking for experienced oyster & clam shuckers to join our team!
We are a well established family owned restaurant that has been in business for over 20 years and we are looking to add more shuckers to keep up with demand!
Hourly pay will be based off experience and ability, with tips the position can earn over $30 per hour!
Job tasks for the position are as follows:
- Opening and plating raw clams & oysters
- Operating & cleaning a steamer
- Understanding and knowledge of raw bar offerings
- Cleaning glassware for the bar
- Re-stocking of beers, liquors, and wines.
- Occasional greeting of customers and explanation of products
- Prepping sauces and lemons needed for raw bar plates
- High level of cleanliness and tidiness of your work area.
Job Requirements:
· Must be over 18 years of age as you are behind the bar and dealing with alcohol
· Must be eligible to work in the US
· Must be fluent in English
· Reliable transportation to and from work
· Ability to work evenings & weekends
· Must work well with others
· No shellfish allergies!
Previous oyster & clam shucking experience is preferred but not required
