Production Cook (Meal Prep Kitchen)

MealsDotKom is a growing meal prep company based in Long Beach, CA, preparing hundreds of fresh meals each week for customers throughout Southern California.
We're looking for a dependable Production Cook to join our team. This is not a traditional restaurant line cook position. Instead of cooking to order, you'll work in a production kitchen preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook proteins, vegetables, grains, and sauces according to company recipes
- Portion food accurately and consistently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with prep, production, packaging, and cleaning as needed
- Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Support teammates to complete weekly production goals
Qualifications:
- Previous commercial kitchen or food production experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow recipes and production procedures
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain one)
We are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
Schedule:
- Part-Time
- Consistent weekly schedule
- Weekend availability required
- Overtime may be available during busy production weeks

Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour
