Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Shift Leader at our fast-paced, customer-focused food service establishment! As a key player in our restaurant management team, you'll oversee shift activities, maintain food safety standards, and drive operational excellence. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service
- Lead and motivate team members to achieve performance goals, providing coaching and training as needed
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and efficiency
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Control inventory levels, monitor food safety practices, and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and promote a welcoming dining atmosphere
- Assist with staff scheduling, interviewing potential team members, and training new employees to uphold service standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong understanding of food preparation and kitchen operations
- Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervising or management experience in hospitality or food service management
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and inventory control procedures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and develop team members effectively
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous experience in managing hospitality teams, including shift management, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis is preferred
