Continuing Education (CE) instructors are part-time, temporary hires who teach personal enrichment and professional development courses for the community. Applicants should note that this position is limited to non-credit courses and excludes instruction for college-credit or degree-based semester programs. CE instructors are selected based on subject-matter expertise and a passion for sharing knowledge. Courses may be offered in person and/or online, with scheduling options during the day, evening, or weekends. Instructors are responsible for providing their own curriculum, and course planning occurs 6–10 months in advance. Applicants must live in the St. Louis metropolitan area and be physically available to work onsite by the course start date. Prior teaching experience and online instruction experience are preferred.
