Duties
- Supervise daily store operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service
- Lead, motivate, and develop team members through effective training, coaching, and performance feedback
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential and maintain visual standards
- Oversee cash handling procedures, POS transactions, and cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and foster positive relationships to enhance customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory or assistant management experience in retail or grocery environments
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Proficiency in retail math, POS systems, inventory management software, and basic bookkeeping
- Demonstrated ability in sales management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and retail marketing techniques
- Experience with cash handling, payroll processing, budgeting, and administrative tasks
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail and time management capabilities
- Knowledge of Convenience store operations is advantageous but not required
